Brunch Highlights

Let me be real, the amount of free game given at this event was unreal. So much so that I can barely scratch the surface with the amount of information that was shared.

There were a number of guest speakers that provided free game on topics ranging from business credit, credit repair, corporate homes, group homes, skin care, commercial real estate, and marketing.

Some of the guest speakers included, but are not limited to:

Ms. Ro- dropped big gems on leveraging your business credit for vehicle purchases, turo, etc.

LeAnndria “Peach” Crawford- AKA the Twisted Plug, gave up game on corporate homes vs. AirBnBs. She reminded the room that there is always room to improve your credit, even at a 750+.

Lynette Wheaton, CEO of Rush to Wheat Homes provided detailed knowledge on establishing Group Homes, and what to do vs. not to do.

Brown SugHer CEO, Brittany spoke about the importance marketing and scaling an online business to opening a store front selling skin and body care essentials.

Julia CEO, gave the room the ultimate gems while speaking on how to make your brand visible, ensuring a tight contract, & how to make sure we not only know how to make money, but also know how to protect it!

In the end, the reminders that were left for us Brown Girls who brunch were to be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and you can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right, for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does. That’s the beauty of LIFE.
